"The following (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2567243-the-mountain-from-game-of-thrones-loses-arm-wrestling-match-to-devon-larratt) is one of those weird moments in life where you watch something and honestly don't understand how what you saw is possible.

This is probably because every instinct you have insists there is no way anyone could easily beat Thor "The Mountain" Bjornsson in an arm-wrestling match.

You'd concede there are probably a few people on the planet who could beat the man who plays Ser Gregor Clegane on HBO's Game of Thrones, but it'd be a tough battle, seeing as he's 6'9", 400 pounds and

You wouldn't expect otherwise honestly. One guy has far superior technique and a focus on training one particular area.

The most surprising thing about this video is how small he made the 6'5, 225lbs guy look. Nuts.

Muscles mean nothing in arm wrestling.

The best arm wrestler in history, John Brzenk, is the most unassuming of arm wrestlers, yet he's taken down giants.

I don't know if muscles means nothing they all have pretty beast forearms and good sized biceps, but for sure it's mostly technique.

And here is Brzenk recently beating the guy in the OP's post this year.

I of course expected the arm wrestler to win, but I didn't expect him to be able to give the Mountain all conceivable advantages and the Mountain still not being able to finish him off. If was like a father vs his middle school son.

:applause:

I wish it was that guy vs The Mountain. Would have been even more impressive looking.

What is the technique that allows him to destroy the mega strong mountain?

Looks like the 6-5 guy has an armspan at least as long if not longer than the icelander, I wonder if long arms are an advantage in arm wrestling
