People make fun because every off season you make 3-4 threads about different euro players citing inside sources and 90% of the time they don't come true. At least you've stopped claiming V-span has signed on for a max deal and as a first option like you used to claim.

And as I said, Spanoulis agreed with the Spurs two years ago. He is replacing Ginobili as soon as Ginobili retires. They are simply waiting for him to retire, which he is finally doing after this season.

Part of the reason they are wanting Bourousis is to get Spanoulis. Bourousis and Spanoulis are extremely close friends, and not just them but so are their wives. So Bourousis and his family would come in San Antonio first and then that would help Spanoulis and his wife adjust when they moved there next year.

That was one of the things that bothered Spanoulis so much before. He could not stand to live in the USA and without any presence of any of his friends from Greece. So having Bourousis and his family there would solve that problem.
