I think you're confusing graphics with art style

Halo has always had an art style which does not look overtly realistic

Plus graphics are mad overrated

60FPS is more of a priority

Especially for a shooter

Also, Halo 5 runs a dynamic resolution that prioritizes 60 FPS in ALL situations. In large firefights with many things happening at once, most games drop frame rate, to maintain resolution. Halo 5 does the opposite. You won't be able to tell the difference in resolution change as well, way too many things happening in a given scenario, and you really can't tell the difference between 1080p and 720p unless you really look hard.

Gameplay > Graphics

This is why Xbox is better than Playstation, who market superior graphics as a selling point. I'd rather trust Xbox, because they are an affiliate of Microsoft, who are THE major PC company. The link between PC gaming and conosle, is closer on xbox.

It's not beating out MGS V or The Witcher 3. Those games set bench marks in their respective genres. Halo 5 looks to be living off legacy, which is fine, but this isn't 2007. Not as much buzz around first person shooters these days.

Just watch. Halo is going to shock the world. MGSV is a game without direction, lost halfway between two points, and Witcher is a truly amazing game, but sort of simplistic at the core. Halo hits the medium just right.

I beg to differ, people still go crazy over COD and Destiny has been very popular amongst the public, especially TTK. Having said that, I know Halo initially came first but this game looks a lot like Destiny, not missing much with my ps4 it seems :cheers:

It's funny when a series has so many entries they have to stop using numbers. I imagine it's not long before they make a gritty WWII reboot simply titled "Call of Duty".
