The GOP debate in three minutes
Wednesday's prime time GOP debate averaged 23.1 million viewers, making it the most-watched program in CNN's history.

The 6 p.m. "undercard" debate drew 6.3 million viewers.

These are NFL-level ratings -- affirming that the Donald Trump fueled Republican debate slate is one of the most popular television shows of the year.

For comparison's sake, CNN's most-watched presidential primary debate before Wednesday was a Democratic debate on January 31, 2008. It had an average of 8.3 million viewers.

All this confirms is that the GOP has reached such a comical entertainment value that people who won't even vote are willing to tune in for lulz.

All my friends who watched the debated literally did it for a drinking game.

Try again. I went to a private school with mostly conservatives and all of them think Trump is a joke.

Honestly I think Trump would be a great president. Well spoken, extremely confident, and a proven leader. Gets shit done.

I trust he'll put a great team around him and actually make positive changes.

I trust an alpha male any day over the other betas and women running. He gets my vote.

All my friends who watched the debated literally did it for a drinking game.

My wife just got home from a business trip and asked if I watched the debate.
I said did you hear about the question about what woman should be on the $10 bill.

Yeah, didn't they pick their mom's or their wives?

Well, Jeb Bush picked Margaret Thatcher.

Get the **** out of here, you're lying.

You mean he's further convinced the country how much of a joke politics is? Yep, works for me.

He has made it interesting, I'll give him that. Even if he can give any solid plans.

He hasn't made a single person care about politics.

He has become a complete joke. I wanted to take him serious, I tried, but now it's over for Donny. He has a better shot at becoming a comedian or a hate-speaker than becoming president of the United states
