Baseball is decent to watch on TV, especially now that the games are a little quicker. The NFL sucks, it's an abomination. I don't understand how people can watch so much advertising for so little action. The commentary is mostly boring as hell.

The NBA is so much better in my eyes. For the most part it's fast paced and exciting. The game is more personal, because there are fewer players, they don't wear helmets, and they are closer to the fans. The actually sport of football is pretty entertaining, but the creativity that basketball allows really puts it over the top for me.

Where the NFL has "deflategate" and a myriad of stories of domestic abuse and such, the NBA has zany storylines, personal rivalries, and interesting characters.

Just ~5 weeks left!

It's definitely getting to the point where I'm starting to become antsy about the NBA season coming back. I was driving home from the drug store earlier thinking if I wanted to order league pass this season.

NBA season starts in a little over a month. It's close. Seems like only a few weeks ago when GSW won it. No sport even comes close to basketball, both as a spectator sport and participation sport.

I watched NFL the other day. New England patriots vs Philly. Never liked the game before but not going to lie, seeing Brady and Gronkowsky dominate the game as white dudes made me understand the game for the first time. White dudes dominated that game.

The Gronk was like a tank and Brady like the field marshall.

I am looking forward to seeing how AD and KD will do this season tho. My bet is KD will have his first season as unanimous best player.

Recently got into Football and really enjoying it, but basketball is still #1.

With Duncan and Manu probably retiring next year, I'm gonna cherish every single game.

Luckily it has one of the shortest off-seasons

Percent of year the sport is active

NCAA football: 37%

NCAA basketball: 39%

NFL: 41%

MLB: 58%

NBA: 63%

NHL: 68%

football and baseball would be a lot more exciting if there was a way to cut out all the downtime between plays/pitches

Nah, don't miss it yet.

The Philadelphia Eagles are really big in Philly, so we have that. Now, if the Eagles lose to Dallas again on Sunday, then we might start looking more at the 76ers training camp and Jah Okafor.:facepalm

NFL sucks?

That's like the most unmanliest thing to say.

Even most woman are into football nowadays. Sexy AF when they're at the bar with you cheering and booing.

I'm tried to get into baseball and football over the years...and it just doesn't take. I liked playing baseball when I was a kid and teenager, but it's just so dull as a viewer. I guess I do like football casually...but I'm not into, into it.

Also...Manu should have retired...he was a joke vs the clippers. He's done. Two things he was known for most are gone...ie his slashing ability and defense.

Watching football is manly:rolleyes:

Having a big dick and doing what you want is manly. Football is a waste of time. That shit puts me to sleep.

Every game matters and the super bowl always delivers. You're just not into football, which is cool. It's a waste of time for YOU. But for millions and millions of others it's the most exciting sport to watch. Get over it.

You're not gonna pull your dick out in public so yea watching it makes you manly. It's a mans soort.

You saying something childish like that now makes me less surprised on why you made this dumb thread.

If that puts you to sleep then you must be a boring ass person to chill with.

I feel they same way, I can watch NFL if it's on but won't go out of my way to watch it.

Bring on the NBA, I am dying to see if D'Angelo Russell is the goods or hours of trolling material for Laker haters.

Please explain to me how watching the NFL makes you manly? PLAYING in the NFL might make you manly, but you could be any sort of baby backed bitch and watch the NFL.

There are more commercials than gameplay during an NFL broadcast, fact. The ball is in play for an average of 11 minutes during an average NFL Broadcast....yet you watch over an hour of commercials. How dumb is that? I basically only watch football for the social aspect, which it lends itself to perfectly. Plenty of time to get beer, chat, and go to the bathroom while NOTHING IS HAPPENING (aka the majority of the time).

I hear ya. I miss NBA basketball. NBA TV is so disappointing. One day they are showing the classics, but only a few teams, and the next day they are showing 24 hours of Game Time. :facepalm

I like baseball and I normally watch some games. I can not stand football. I rather watch Lifetime movies with my wife. So yep, I miss the NBA season. I can not wait until training camps start.
