Lamar was more versatile offensively but Dramond better on defense. It'd really depend on what team I'm fitting him into. Gun to my head I'm taking odom though.

Prime crackhead by a million miles. Two chips as a 1b to Pau. Nuff respect.

Odom was more versatile but Draymond is a great 3 and D guy. He usually had the highest +/- on a team with players better than him.

Agenda thread, but Odom was a great player in Lakers, much more versatile.

Big hopes about him I remember from his rookie season.

And what about all this Kobe can't play with this and that, he played fine with Odom.

Odom was too inconsistent..

at his best for a single game Odom, but overall Draymond..

Draymond just put up 14/10/5 for the playoffs

when did Odom put up 5 assist and 10 rebounds while playing amazing defense for a title run..

Odom. It is a huge advantage to have a guy that big that can run an offense.

I think Draymond is going to be like Marion. Marion was crazy overrated on ISH but eventually was forgotten. Draymond will be the same.

Draymond Green is 25 years old and is already a NBA Champion/Defensive Player of the Year candidate. How many players in NBA History has tallied a triple double in a series closing win during the NBA Finals? Plus, his attitude is too expressive for him to fall in the cracks like Marion did.

The fact that this is EVEN A QUESTION shows how Odom squandered his ability quickly. For starters, Odom should STILL be in the league in his backend prime years. He had a game that was built to age gracefully. The ONLY THING Draymond had on peak Odom was defense.

But Odom at his best was a much more unique player. I don't think ANYBODY can truly play all five positions. But Odom was on the SHORT LIST of guys you would have to consider. Even at his peak, he STILL never seemed to reach his TRUE POTENTIAL!

So as the years go on, I think Dray will be considered the better player. He's going to continue improving and he WON'T squander his ability the way Lamar did. Dray will get the best out of his ability. So as of today, give me peak Odom. But I think Dray will get better and eventually be a better player than Odom. Which once again, SHOULDN'T be the case at all. Odom's game never reached the levels it should have...

Draymond by far and hes not even in his prime yet. Hes the 2nd best defender in the entire league behind Tony Allen. Odom never had that kind of impact. Draymond actually does everything better than Odom except for ballhandling and rebounding (and rebounding is a wash if u look at the context). Take into account the intangibles, consistency, dedication and massive basketball IQ advantage Draymond has and its not close
