If no nukes are involved, and USA isn't trying to invade Russia, USA curbstomps this victory.

If nukes are involved, USA still probably curbstomps.

You have no idea how large the disparity is in US military spending and the rest of the world's military spending if you think this would even be a close contest. On top of that USA is allies with and has military bases in all of the top strategic places all over the world. China and Russia do not have that network.

Russia and China's only chance is if USA is trying to invade and occupy Russia, as that country is historically impossible to invade. Even then, Russia and China would only have a slim chance.

Individually, no. US ability to project power across the globe isn't something any other conventional force can match.

I never understood this notion of Russia and China "teaming up" against us. Neither likes each other very much and each actually would rather be the sole superpower.

Interesting. Always thought this was other way around.

Why don't they like each other ?

We could cut our military budget in half and still crush the rest of the world in no-holds bar warfare.

Can only have one big kid on the block. Too close, ethnically and culturally very different.

They aren't outwardly aggressive or antagonistic, but they're certainly competing for influence in the same neighborhood and have been for decades in the wake the USSR's collapse and abandonment of socialism. No one wants the biggest bully on the block right on their border.

Yeah, the western hemisphere would be a scary place if even one of these countries had half the military and economy that we do.

Russia/China

Muricans like to prance around with their spending without realizing Russia/China have made/been making stuff that downs and sinks specifically their 1 trillion dollar jets and glorious carrier battlegroups in an incredibly cost efficient manner

USA's military budget is so bloated because they're spread across the world with their armies which is exactly the reason they would lose to a juggernaut army of combined china and russia forces

Nukes involved= no winner.

Why do people even think this is a possibility (beyond the political ties element), I mean, it's not like any parties involved can sneak up on each other, and nukes would prevent any real war. It's either a cold war, or we all get blown up.

Spending =/= power.

Our power advantage isn't as great as our financial investment. Besides we spend way more than any country on R&D and then sell the technologies to other countries.

We could cut our military budget in half and still crush the rest of the world in no-holds bar warfare.

If that were true we WOULD cut our military budget in half.

You don't think it's powerful knowing exactly how your enemies weapons work?

XD you are retarded if you truly believe Russia and China have a chance.

Their only chance is if US is trying to invade Russia and Russia bunkers down and goes full blown guerilla warfare.

In open combat, Russia and China get demolished without a fight.

Wow, retarded Eastern Europeans really do believe the Russian propaganda

The fact that the US is so spread out IS AN ADVANTAGE. Warfare is not about who has the most men in a concentrated area. This isn't 500 AD. US would strike China and Russia from all sides with an air, sea and ground advantage and Russia and China would have no way to deal with it.

On top of that, US military will be united, Russia and China will have to coordinate strikes together and agree on plans and this will give USA a tactical disadvantage.

USA still wrecks them.

give it time and Japan will have become militarized, SKorea will surpass USA level tech, and Russia goes into depression. karma will hit China sooner or later with all of the shit they steal and copy from everyone too.

china's strength is their foot soldiers...we dont send any on ground...bomb them from above and by sea ...end of war

as far as russia goes...just arm the satelite nations (its what we do best) (ukraine is probably itching to get involved, with the right backing) and sit back and drink the coolaid

They have been crying wolf for years.

America sanctions them, North Korea jumps up and down threatens nuclear action, america lifts sanctions, North Korea starts their nuclear program again...

Rinse repeat.

LOL @ the Euro inferiority complex. Without nukes, this would be a bloodbath, and not in China/Russia's favor. Russia's economy is smaller than California's these days. They're good at posturing and making Putin workout videos, but little else.

The US sucks at guerrilla warfare, but conventional war? It's not even a question that your ass will get kicked, it's kicked already.

Russia aint shit anymore. All bark, no bite. China has a huge standing Army, but I guarantee the U.S. has nukes in range of every major Chinese city. A modern World War would come down to Ocean supremacy, and the U.S. controls the Oceans.

Russia is only behind the US what are you talking about? Also like I said earlier if it involves nukes no one wins.
