LT 2006 MVP season was one of greatest individual performance for running back I've ever seen until AP 2012 record breaking season coming off ACL tear. LT is one of top five RB arguably in history I can't say same thing for CP3. LT is rare special talent Paul isn't.

I think Oscar would be a better comparison with LT, though I don't know football history that much.

Two players, albeit different sports obviously, that are known for their ridiculous numbers and individual ability, rather than the wins of the team.

I'm torn. I miss LT. Too bad the Chargers couldn't take down Patriots to get to the SB. LT is one guy that needed a ring. There will never be a new LT, but hopefully Melvin Gordon can grab the torch.

LT is a top5, arguably top3 RB.

NBA is less forgiving of 0 championships so Paul might surpass LT if he wins 1-2.

Both have been the best at their positions more than once. Both are pretty versatile and all-around players. Both never won the main goal so it doesn't really matter honestly. Tie.
