View Full Version : When a woman accuses a man of rape, but no case is found...why isn't she prosecuted?

If the state finds the woman's case to be ridiculous and untrue, why isn't the woman investigated fully and then charged with making false allegations?

Equal rights...:lol

I feel so bad for all these men out here being falsely accused and STILL having their lives ruined by these regretful whores that feel scorned.

Because society likes babying women and running attentively to their every cry. Then if the woman is lying, they forgive her and even pat her on the back for being brave and telling the truth.

This is what happens when society fails to hold an entire gender responsible for anything they do.

It is the same when two people drunkenly consent to have sex with each other.

Only the man is responsible. The woman is held completely irresponsible for her decisions in the eyes of the law. Any time you have drunken consenting sex with a girl, she legally has the right to accuse you of rape, and she will probably win.

Women are prosecuted if it's proven they fabricated accusations.

In certain Arab countries, if a woman gets raped, she also gets stoned to death.

I think they're doing it wrong over there.

No they aren't. This is something that is nice to believe but it isn't actually true.

What's happened to the girl who made up the UVA rape case? What is happening the Columbia mattress girl who was proven by both police and the university kangaroo court biased in her favor to have made her "rape" up.

NOTHING is happening to those women. They are not being prosecuted.

The reasoning behind this? Prosecuting false rape claims would "discourage real rape victims from coming forward". :facepalm

Lack of evidence =/= proof it was a lie.

I don't believe she filed any criminal charges against the fraternity, they sued Rolling Stone, and she is still liable to be sued by the frat if they so choose.

What is happening the Columbia mattress girl

The DA and the school found no proof that he assaulted her, but they also have no proof that she lied. His family is suing the school. You want to throw her in jail with no proof? That's no better than what she may have done.

This is the key point that people are missing.

We don't have a legal system where one of them MUST be found guilty. A lack of evidence that a woman was raped isn't proof that she lied. All it means is there isn't enough evidence to know for sure who's story is true. So you don't punish either of them. Neither of them have been proven to be guilty of anything.

Let me start by saying that I'm basing all this in one article I read months ago and I'm not itk.

But wasn't this girl messaging her alleged "rapist" for months after the rape telling him how much she loves him, misses him and can't wait to "be together" again? And then suddenly made a 180 like over a year later, when it became clear he wasn't interested in dating her? I think that should be enough proof in a case like this, rapists definitely get convicted on less evidence.

At least something that goes on her criminal record and some mandatory therapy sessions to make sure she's not sending innocent men to jail in the future, because you can almost set your clock to that.

What about the girl who lied about Brian Banks, brah? She was awarded millions and his NFL career was destroyed.

Nope. He's talking about the Columbia mattress girl case. After she was "raped" she messaged him nice things for months and even explicity wrote to him asking him to "**** her in the butt"

What it looks like is he banged her reluctantly while intoxicated, she was pushing for a relationship and he didn't want it. Mattress girl got pissed and decided to call him a rapist as revenge. Her university and class mates enabled her delusions.

Interesting.

Well the point remains, women are regularly prosecuted when proven to make false claims and it its happened 100's of times in the country the person claiming it doesn't happen.

UL basketball player was accused of rape and dismissed from the team.

Turns out, the girl lied. Too late, damage done.

Last I heard (months ago) they weren't charging her.

So what you are saying is women get a free pass to **** a man on the side when they are in a relationship?

How many times have you seen if when a girl cheats on her boyfriend and instead of the boyfriend blaming his cheating girlfriend he goes and tries to start a fight with the guy she cheated on?

Many women do get a free pass for cheating. It is generally encouraged by society and called "exploring and taking control of your sexuality"

At least the school district sued her back afterwards to get the money and won.
