I am usually very anti-pharmaceutical drugs but taking a shit load of Ritalin makes tests like this and the SAT's a walk in the park. Highly recommended if you can get your hands on some.

Thanks. Good luck to you too. I took the day before my exam off from work, planning on just doing some simple studying in the morning then just chill and perhaps smoke some weed all day.

It goes into scientific detail about why people "choke" on big events - an inappropriate activation of the Sympathetic system, which triggers the fight or flight response - and how to take tests and lead a lifestyle that reduces "choking". Someone should forward and interpret that for Lebron.

I already have doctor prescribed Biphentin (a Methylphenidate) and yes, there is an optimal amount of stimming you can do on your CNS. However, a "shitload" in my opinion means youre ****ed.

I used to take prescription Ritalin everyday until Cannabis helped me stop


The first time I took the SAT I took the normal dosage that I took everyday. This was a HUGE mistake. The last 1/4 of the test was a total drag and it got to the point where I literally could barely think. Thinking felt like lifting a very heavy weight as hard as I could, except in my brain. After the test I was a total zombie.

The 2nd time I said **** that shit and took double my usual dose right before the test as well as this

Then I took 1 more 20mg Ritalin pill about halfway through the test.


I felt like a ****ing champion. It literally felt like the test lasted an hour. I was able to think so fast and I was having fun. I felt like running a marathon and just had so much mental energy that I was able to process information and think really fast. At the end of the test I felt so good that I felt like I could have taken it 2 more times in a row without any problem.

Then, I played a basketball game literally right after and was all over the court. I was like the energizer bunny. We had another game right after (**** back to backs) and in the 2nd half all the Ritalin wore off and I quickly turned into a ****ing trainwreck :lol

Totally worth it. Got a great score that ended up giving me more scholarship $$$ :banana:

80mg is what I took of Ritalin plus another 20 half way through


You can sleep that same night, you will just crash really hard in the afternoon but it is 100% worth getting a higher score.

I'm not so sure.. I usually get my doctor to prescribe 30mg and 40mg variants, and their differences in effects on my appetite, sleep, etc are noticeable. Going from 40 to 80 actually sounds ridiculous to me, no offense.

You're taking the mcat? The biggest help for me was doing a practice exam every weekend at 8 am. It helps to evaluate your weak areas while getting you comfortable with the test.
