#1 Kobe = had 1 other hall of famer period for all 5 of his rings, 2 without a legendary sidekick.. gasol 85th all time.. scrubs littered the rest of his lineups for all 5 rings ( sasha, george, farmar, luke, medvidenko, mbenga, fisher, foster, lue, madsen, denko. his best 3rd wheel has 0 allstar appearances asside from 1 title rice a year away from retirement )

#2 Jordan = had 1 other productive hall of famer for 3 rings, 2 other productive hall of famers for his other 3 rings.. had elite role players and former stars littered the rest of his lineup for all 6 rings ( kukoc, armstrong, grant, paxson finals winning shot and all time great shooter, harper, kerr finals winning shots and top 5 three point shooter ever, cartwright who averaged 20ppg before, hodges one of the best shooters ever, stacy king and many more )

#3 shaq = had 1 other productive hall of famer for 3 rings, 1 productive hall of famer for his 4th ring

#4 hakeem = had 0 other productive hall of famers for 1 ring, 1 other productive hall of famer for his 2nd ring

#5 duncan = had 1 other productive hall of famer for 1 ring, 2-3 other productive hall of famers for his last 4 rings

#6 Kareem = had 4-5 other productive hall of famers for 5 of his 6 rings, 2 for his bucks

#7 magic = had 4-5 other productive hall of famers for all 5 rings

#8 Russell = had 5-6 other productive hall of famers for all 11 rings

#9 Bird = had 4-5 other hall of famers for all 3 rings

#10 Wilt = had 2-3 other hall of famers for both of his 2 rings

#11 lebron = had 2-3 other hall of famers for both of his 2 rings

I think you would agree youve been given a pretty wide berth this summer. is it asking too much for you to calm down as the the season starts? These endless topics are getting to be a bit much.

I'm attempting to appeal to the somewhat rational person that has to be in there instead of just deleting a bunch of topics that don't need to exist

is anyone even willing to try and refute my claim in the OP?

probably not. just senseless personal attacks and mockery. even from forum mods

kobe technically did win the most with the least number of HOFers

facts are facts.

i continue to stack evidence for my claim that kobe is a top 5 player all time

ever heard the saying,

"Don’t argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience."

if you're confused, its because you're the *ucking idiot.

If you are calling Bosh an HOFer than you have to call Gasol one as well.

Bosh is better athlete and scorer but Gasol's overall offensive game is better.

ClipperRevival

Gasol is a hall of famer.

But it doesn't fit the OPs agenda so we must not bring up this OBVIOUS fact. Gasol is one of the most skilled bigs ever.

And not mentioning key contributors/great role players like Odom, Ariza, Bynum and Brown in their 2009 and 2010 run also goes against his agenda so he left those guys out.

Talk about one objective guy huh?

youre just proving that kobe is underrated with that statement

winning with 1 other hall of famer is in kobes control

winning mvps is not in kobes control

a guy once averaged 50/25 and dropped 100 points in one game on a team that went 49-31

he didnt win mvp

its never up to the man. its up to disgruntled spiteful agenda driven people with pre conceded notions as to what they consider valuable

kennethgriffin
09-23-2015, 04:24 PM
No top-10 player won most of their rings as a sidekick.

russell was mvp/leader of 5 out of his 11 rings

kareem was mvp/leader of 2 of his 6 rings

heck even wilt was outscored in the playoffs and finals for both his rings

and i'd like to consider a 2 man team as co-lead .. atleast from 2001 and 2002

any time a guy averages 27-30ppg during the season and playoffs. hes not a sidekick

especially when hes the assist leading playmaker ontop of it

kerr is statistically one of the top 5 shooters in league history..he hit a championship game/series winning all time great clinching legendary shot. one of the top 10 moments in finals history

paxson is statistically one of the top 10 shooters in league history when he won titles in chicago. shooting 46% threes in 1993. the year in which he hit a championship game/series winning all time great clinching legendary shot. one of the top 10 moments in finals history

fisher hit a 0.4 shot once that never lead to anything. lakers lost that year.. hes a good wide open shooter.

common man... kerr and paxson are way better

and i mentioned rice. i said he was kobes only former allstar 3rd wheel for JUST ONE title

that was the one time kobe had a 3rd man

jordan had a great 3rd EVERY TIME and a HOF 3rd leader for half his rings

fox was OK

horry was clutch but hit every one of his winners from a kobe assist

even fishers 0.4 shot came off a kobe double team

You are attempting to use this as "context" but you are missing the "productive part" in your post.

In 99, the one HOF you are referencing averaged 15/10/2.5blks. This is worse than Deandre Jordan...is he HOF?

Parker and Gino averaged 14/3 and 9/4/3 respectively in 03.
In 05 they were 17/4 and 20/6/5 (oh look finally 1 player HOF-level production!)
In 07 they were 18/5/3 and 16/4/3 (maybe allstar level numbers if we are generous)

in 2014 duncan was old but still maybe the best player on his team. No other player had any sort of HOF numbers...maybe you could argue Kawhi for his defense but that's a stretch. They might be the only championship team to have NO HOF-level production :D

Point being in Duncan's 5 titles, he only got HOF-production once from another player.

Duncan is just an example though. Most of the other people you ran through have context inconsistencies as well.
