Overrated fat trash. Everyone just praises how "talented" she is because she is fat and ugly. If she looked like Beyonce nobody would give her the praise that they do.

Her music is so ****ing annoying. Just repeats the same shit over and over again.

I love Radiohead but I don't know about best artist of this generation when their music spanned to previous generation. Their best stuff may have been the last generation.

Also, Radiohead in my opinion is pretty 'underground' in the sense that you must be 'in the know' to listen to their stuff because a lot of their stuff does not get air play.

Amnesiac, in rainbows, kid a

Are all top 15 greatest of this era, and many will argue all time.

King of limbs is top 5 that year.

Hail to the Chief is underrated and has songs that would be the best in most artist's discography.

All in the 00k era.

:lol this is comedy gold

great news tho. i wonder what it will sound like.

their last three have felt somewhat similar to me. they went minimalist with the kid a stuff, grungy with the bends, alternative with ok computer. now they are amalgamating those styles and their albums have become much more diverse.

i love this song more than i can say btw... The Daily Mail from the live version of King of Limbs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McuHVXgR8dA)

the moon is a rock on a mountain
the lunatics have taken over the asylum
waiting on the rapture

meaningless drivel or.... i dunno but the song really takes off on the back end in unexpected ways, good sh!t

So many underrated songs.

One that's been stuck in my head is Sail the Moon. It took me a few listens to really dig it.

you can make an argument that any one of seven radiohead albums belong in "the top 15" whatever that means, in other words very little since we're talking about music here. not just that its subjective or whatever, even if ur trying to claim "biggest impact on the culture" or "greatest influence on subsequent artists" or whatever... i'm not sure you or anybody else on insidehoops has near the sophistication, or even the resources quite frankly, that it would take to prove radiohead changed musical stylings in this or that way. that's a project somebody takes on in 50 years and makes it their life work. maybe it is radiohead... personally i'm not really hearing it yet but i don't think its rubbed off enough quite yet

hail to the thief has never really grabbed me. i maintain as i said in my last post it was something of a stepping stone to their last two. one explanation for that is its really long so there are just a lot more losing moments. the riff that hooked me from day one though go to sleep.. its conventional in melody but its radiohead so c'mon. reminds me of the bends

Pretty sad that Radiohead is still the best band out there though considering that the came up in the early mid 90s. That's not a slight against them, I think they are one of the GOAT bands but it used to be back in the day that a great rock band would be replaced by another great rock and so on and so forth.

Rock music is shit today, easily the worst it's ever been :(

Not that these lists are the definitive proof, the end all of any sort of argument. But it does speak volumes when they (as a group) and their music is so highly praised across the board.

These lists represent multiple voters, from music 'experts', to fans, to artists themselves. Their influence is heard both directly and indirectly throughout multiple genres not just rock. Radiohead's influence spans from rock to r&b, to hip hop to EDM, to jazz and classical.

This may not be enough to prove to you or most, but it certainly is a great start, and it's hard to ignore the different lists and rankings. :applause:

I'd also add that Radiohead is so diverse in their sound that it would be kind of hard to tell right away what bands were influenced by them unless they're outright trying to copy their "sound".

My brother is also a huge fan and his absolute favorite album is Hail To The Theif. Me, it's hard to pick just one.

They're K-Pop stars now, nice, hope they have a nice dance routine and girly haircuts.

I agree.

Although there's been some bands that have been considered Radiohead wannabes at some point most notably Muse.

The most obvious way to see their influence is on covers and sampling (of their music).

But going back to their current project....

They've been combining old and new methods in creating this album, I can't wait to hear the end result. I hope it resembles less of Yorke's solo work (not a big fan). But also, who knows... they might have FlyLo come in a la Billy Preston.:confusedshrug:

West is more likely to name an indie rocker than another rapper. He loves Radiohead and has called that band's mastermind, Thom Yorke, one of the greatest geniuses in music.
