To see how good today's players really are at BASKETBALL, they should play some exhibitions where they remove the 3-point line.

Here's my prediction of what would happen:

Players wouldn't know the right way to play - most teams would still try to run screen-roll/drive-and-kick, but since they are only driving and kicking for TWO-pointers and not 3-pointers, league-wide ORtg and PPG would plummet - offenses would suck...

Then a team would come along whose offense WASN'T based on drive-and-kick, and instead was based on post ups and midrange.. This team's offense would be far superior to the other teams who drive-and-kick for 2-pointers, and they would wreck the league.. After that, every team would copy that team and the offenses around the league would return to post and midrange play, like the 80's.
