I don't even wear converse shoes. But I actually like Wade's shoes when he was with Converse. It sucks that both Bird and Magic didn't have the opportunity to endorse a good looking shoes like Nike and Adidas. Yeah, Converse was very popular in the 1970's and 1980's.

They shot that at Bird's home in Frech Lick, IN and that's when they first got to know each other and became friends. Of course if you saw the Bird/Magic documentary by HBO, you would know this.
