Instead of his T-rex arms

Would he then be able to average 10+ rebounds a game?

Here's the problem

we don't agree on everything but I have to agree here.

people who think the Clippers can win it all are delusional. DeAndre Jordan is the most overrated defender in the league, Griffin is too limited by his poor length to be a two way force like many other stars, and CP3 is CP3

Replace Griffin with Cousins and the Clippers get better. No doubt about it. CP3/Redick/Pierce/Cousins/Jordan would shit on the rest of the league and have a much better chance but probably still not win it all because CP3 gonna CP3. But still, with Griffin they're just another team in the West trying to get in with the top 3, worse chokers than the Rockets

Griffin averaged over 10 RPG in both of his first two seasons. Wingspan isn't the reason his rebounding fell off. He's just not focusing on it, maybe leaving it to DeAndre Jordan.

rebounding is 60% effort, 20% skill, 20% height/length

see charles barkley, dennis rodman, jason kidd, elgin baylor etc...

lebrons 6-9, 270 pounds, stronger and jumps higher than most big men. and he has a long wingspan... so why'd he average only 6 rebounds last season compared to 11 rebounds in the playoffs?

effort

some guys are just lazy and coast

Lol LeBron averaged 12 in the playoffs (more than Tristan Thompson)

Why does Kobe only average 5?

Being 6-8 and 1/2 with a 6-11 and 1/4 wingspan isn't "T-Rex arms". That's still decent basketball proportions in that you have longer arms than your height.

He has adequate NBA wingspan he just doesn't have freak wingspan like some other players get gifted with. kevin Love has his exact same wingspan, though is 3/4 of an inch shorter, and he's a tremendous rebounder. So I don't think Blake's wingspan is an excuse not to be a great rebounder.

Except standing reach is a more accurate measure of rebounding 'length'

There are instances where players have good wingspans but poor standing reach and vice-versa

Blakes 8'9 standing reach is similar to Wade's who's 8'7.

And Wade is a 6'4 SG

Blake has the reach of a big SG, small- small forward yet he plays PF
