Remember, I'm not talking about team strength

I'm talking about which conference has more quality players?

Tough one.. especially since Rose and George is coming back healthy, same with Melo

Jabari is also healthy, and Bosh comes back as well

the best 5 players in the east (cavs) could barely make it past round 1 in the west. let that sink in for a moment before you throw up :(

Of the 15 All-NBAers last year, 12 of them were from the West

Of the 12 players who received MVP points, 11 of them were from the West

8 of the top 10 in PER were from the West

7 of the top 10 in WS were from the West

It's the West and it's not even close.

Yes, but the East was injured last year, the players I listed are healthy now

Not a fair use of statistics

George is a legitimate one...but then I could just as easily say Tony Parker was injured.

Rose at this point isn't going to make an All-NBA Team, so it's irrelevant.

So next year it will be 11-4 West. Still makes it incredibly lopsided.

Come on dubeta, you're better than this :lol

HOWEVER, I think a better question would be which DIVISION is most talented? It's a hard call for me between SW, Pacific, and Central. I give the edge to Southwest though now with the addition of Aldridge

There is some unbelievably stacked teams in the East. Look at my Heat:

Dragic
Wade
Deng
Bosh
Whiteside. :lebronamazed:

Not sure if Lebron can make it to the Finals for the 6th straight season against that all star team. Especially with the Cavs inexperienced injury prone lineup. No way could the Cavs ever make the Finals if god forbid the fragile Kyrie AND Love were both injured in the playoffs. Inconceivable.

Anyone that tries to build an argument around the East being more talented than the West right now is either legitimately mentally handicapped or high as f**k.

12 of 15 All-NBAers from West

11 of top 12 MVP candidates from West

MVP and DPOY from West

Better across the board statistically, teams (which rely on the talent of players) won a lot more games

Better question is: is the 2nd tier of Western Conference stars better than the East's 1st tier of stars, tbh?

Since 1987, the best player in the league has been a player in the East 18 times

1987-1989 Bird

1990-1998 - Jordan

2008-2015 - LeBron

Thats 18 out of 28 years

64% of the time :biggums:

How can you call one conference stronger, when the best player in the league doesnt even reside there??
