so shaq is mediocre? then why ppl said he carried the whole team?

---

oh the current players.
then KD/Dirk is mediocre too?

beside, AD has 0 mvp, but he's already on the same tier as Bran. actually, Pelican wont even do Bran for AD straight trade.

so why not starting to ride someone else' nuts.

---
forgot most important line, i am the big bran stan.

so shaq is mediocre? then why ppl said he carried the whole team?

He was elite from 2000-2002 (hence carrying a 15ppg Kobe) but his overall career was mediocre, averaged 15 ppg from 2005 - 2010

We all know if MVP was the "best player" award Shaq would have a few more of dem.

He was arguably the best player in quite a few seasons.

Why is it so hard for OP to create a quality post?

Pelican wont even do Bran for AD straight trade.

This is actually confirmed. Once the hype catches on these nikka's gonna be plucking hair off their balls and gluing it in between their eyebrows.

Guys were actually winning rings instead.

Theres many players in the league with more than 1 ring

Yet only 1 person with more than 1 MVP? :biggums:

Rings means who had the better teams, MVP is who was the better player

So Nash was a better player than Shaq/Hakeem/Kobe?

Yes..

Shaq and Hakeem had short spurts of dominance (Hakeem in mid 90''s and Shaq in 2000-2002), but after that their careers flamed out horribly

And Kobe definitely has less overall impact than Nash (in terms of production, contributing to team success)

You need to be dominant, over multiple years to win MVPs

Why is it so hard for the supposed best player in the finals to not lose the FVMP to a role player? Was it because of the single coverage?

C'mon bro.
Lebron is great but so was Shaq.
They are both amoung the legendary PER Kings.

Shaq as a Rookie increased Orlando's SRS rating by 8+pts (that is immense and highly unusual)
Shaq in 1994 had a GOAT reg-season.
Shaq was 2nd in MVP voting in 1995, made the Finals and had a GOAT Finals series.
Shaq in 96 dropped a monster series all over the Bulls in the ECF.
Outside of one bad game I think he averaged 33ppg on 68%TS against them. That is just sick.

Shaq in 98 had a 30+ PER in the playoffs, dropped a GOAT series on a great Seattle team and then dropped a pretty nice series on Utah (b2b 38+pt games).

Shaq in 03 was still an absolute monster (30+ PER in the playoffs) and was either the best player or 2nd best player in the league (after Duncan).

He was also Top 3 in 2004 and came within a hair of winning MVP in 05.

Shaq was highly dominant for 12-14 years.
2nd in MVP in 1995.
2nd in MVP in 2005.

why is it so hard for lebron to win more often than he loses in the finals?

Why is it so hard for Bron to win without wade but it wasn't hard for wade to win without bron? (06)

Why is it so hard for Bron to win without wade but it wasn't hard for wade to win without bron? (06)

Prime Wade had that Jordan like multi-directional slashing ability that allowed him to garner high percentage shot attempts even against tough defenses like Boston or Detroit.
Its why Wade generally did great against those teams while Kobe didn't.
