The rivalry literally heated up when James went to Miami and Pierce hit a game-winning shot over him in the Eastern Conference finals, only for the Celtics to lose the series. So it goes as no surprise that the two aren't BFFs. This clash was further extended by comments from Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat, who exposed an interesting story behind how Pierce feels about James.

During Wizards Media day, Gortat said Pierce told him, "

so Davis on the Knicks and Nick Anderson never had the same mentality (fck MJ) because he and the Bulls were the reason they could never get over the hump? again  :facepalm

ironic thing is I appreciate MJ more than any other player in the game...but I don't let these troll's estrogen outbursts get in the way of reality/facts.

no player should wear another mans shoe unless they were a fan of them growing up

if theyre the same age or younger

or in competition with you

then wear something else

fan or not, if the shoe has benefit to them on the court, why shouldn't they wear them?

personally, any player wearing retro Jordan's in today's game is doing themselves no favor as there is no new tech involved with them. today's Lebron's KD's and Kobe's insoles alone are much more comfortable to ball in than any retro out there.
