Take the stacked cavs out the east and add one real all-star like curry/cp3/blake/westbrook/durant/gasol/lebron to any team in the east, would they be favorites to win the east?
simple question.

no. Keep in mind the east has some very good and dangerous teams.

60 win hawks- dominated everyone and were clear favorites last year. Without the best player in the world, cavs would have been swept even with a love and irving.

All star Bulls- D rose, butler, gasol, mirotic, gibson, noah etc. This team was stacked to the rim, they were the favorites at the beginning of the season and everyone thought they would beat the love-less cavs.

Pierce-kg celtics reincarnation- i Like to call it that because it reminds me of a slightly poor version of that group. Isiah Thomas was crazy hot that series but lebron managed to slow him down. Evan Turner was like Pierce, Sullinger- kg, olynk - perkins. Definately impressive with a top 5-10 coach in brad stevens (the doc of the group)

Wizards- the up and coming young team. Filled with stars.

People like to think of the east as a cakewalk but its easily at the level of the western conference. Lebron James makes the East look that easy, hes just that good folks.

Not any team, but any East playoff team and they suddenly become favorites.
