Been a while since I posted but the 90's are taking this with 00s close second the 60s complete the podium.
Sorry Bird and Magic, not good enough.

Shouldn't LeBron be in both the 2000's and 2010's?

The 2010's would get creamed inside looking at that picture.

There aren't enough balls in creation to satisfy the 00s. That team would end up killing each other before beating their opponents. 90s and 80s is close. I tend to think that Magic and Bird would find a way to win. Not sure that I would want Thomas on that team though, probably prefer a defensive specialist who could at least slow Jordan down a little (especially since the team is absorbing Magic's defense). Give me Dumars or Cooper instead.

i like the 90s
that lineup meshes beautifully. maybe barkley has a tough time defending certain 3's but the team defense is so good that it wouldn't matter. malone and hakeem would be a brilliant combination.

90s lineup features three guys who worked largely off the low block in the post. Hakeem demanded the ball go through him in an inside out style. So there isn't much room for the Stockton/Malone pick and roll. And we already got to see how well Hakeem and Barkley would mesh... Their defense, however would be outstanding. The same team would be better with Pippen instead of Barkley - more versatile on D, and one less person demanding a share of the ball all the time.

90's GOATs with 2010 GOATs close second

Replace Barkley with Pippen and the 90s team slaughters everyone, in my opinion.
Replace AI with Nash or Kidd and 00s play them pretty close, but 90s still wins convincingly.

Nash replacing AI makes 00 unbeatable

close between 60s & 80s. 90s has jordan & a bunch of losers.
70s are weak.

I always thought the eras went like this...
75-85s = Too young to really rank these
85-95s = Magic, Jordan, Bird, Barkley, Hakeem
95-05s = Nash, Iverson, ???, Malone, Shaq
05-15s = Wade, Kobe, Lebron, Dirk, Duncan
15-25s = Curry, Harden, Durant, AD, Cousins
??? = I didn't know who to put here. I was thinking Pippen, KG, or even McGrady.

but every miss would lead to an offensive rebound
later day barkley turned into what zach randolph is now. but early 90s chuck is fast and crafty knowing exactly where to be around the paint.
i have no doubt that front line could figure out how to get out of each other's way. they are all good off ball / position players.
you're right pippen would be better... i just really like that front line :lol

00s could be Nash/Kobe/Garnett/Duncan/Shaq
10s could be Curry/James/Durant/Davis/Howard

Sidney Moncrief, man... Best SG in the league before Jordan, great all-around player, 2x DPOY, probably the GOAT defensive guard, one of the players who've guarded Jordan the best, MJ shows him crazy respect and praise...
On that 80s squad, I'd probably have Dominique at SF and Bird at the 4 though, with McHale off the bench.

but every miss would lead to an offensive rebound
These teams are supposed to be competing with each other. As good as the 90s are, they will not be getting every offensive rebound against Moses, McHale, Bird and Magic, nor against Wilt, Russell, Baylor and Oscar.
And I agree that younger Barkley would adapt to where he needed to fit, and also Malone. Hakeem, however, demanded the ball go through him, and that would not be the best fit for this team. And the team does not have strong enough outside shooting to fit Hakeem's style. Now if you could persuade Hakeem to take a backseat, and focus just on D...

80's for me. Too much intelligence for that squad to be denied.

90's or 2000's comfortably for me. Too much size, strength and athleticism.
2010's getting slept on. That team would rain 3's all day. A 3 is worth more than 2. Sure, you can beat people up inside in the post, but getting 3's rained on you nearly every 2nd possession is demoralising.
I think a team of Curry/Harden/Durant/Davis/Cousins does a bunch of damage and can beat any of those teams. Hell, put in Blake for Davis and it is still nice.

Actually, I think the 10's have a chance if you go like this:
PG: 2015 Curry
SG: 2011 Wade
SF: 2014 Durant
PF: 2013 Lebron
C: 2011 Howard
You have 3 playmakers in Wade, Curry and Lebron, 13 Lebron was a very good shooter and Durant and Curry were godly, with Lebron feeding them at the 3 point line it will rain 3's. Wade and Lebron are great defenders, and Durant's length would bother anyone. Use Howard as a lob catcher in the pick'n'roll and as a rim protector and this team could beat any of those other teams.

00's would be a train-wreck with those personalities. I would like the 90's squad better if we swapped Malone for a legit wing player.

Even the biggest chemistry disaster there (Shaq and Kobe) managed to win three straight plus another Finals appearance , fucc are some of you talking about?
Only thing is AI should be swapped out for Kidd or Nash.

60s is strong because Wilt and Russel compliment each other and you've got two great perimeter scorers at the guards. Don't know who the sf is?

Of course you don't. You have no basketball knowledge.
Even intermediate fans know who Elgin Baylor is.
