I'm looking to get involved as a day trader.
I have done sales in stockmarket companies and have a relatively basic understanding of the different terminology and how it works.
Anyone recommend some good books to read? Or best trading strategy?
So many different options out there, I prefer to stay away from FX and futures.
Im about to start on a Daryl Guppy book about snapshot trading...

Did simulated trading in high school for a project. We started with $30k and ended the semester at -$14k because one of our partners invested into a stock for a company that went bankrupt and it was 2008 so... :confusedshrug:
My stocks profited about like 30% though.

It was a yahoo simulation. Most investors I know hold onto big name stocks for a long time but rarely sell them.
Some really rich kid from Miami in college day traded. Besides that, I haven't heard of anyone else I've heard of day trade consistently.
less than 1% of traders beat the market index return over a 20-year period.
the odds of fantastic failure in daytrading are remarkable if you're in it long enough.
