It's a completely bullshit system change. They want you to be detailed as **** about everything "so less fraud can occur." What it actually does is just add a shitload of busywork in fields where people are trying to help others. For the ones that aren't there to help others, you really think docs and shit aren't still gonna upscale people's conditions to get more money?

Isnt the whole system changing?

Started today... my system uses IMS which converts a lot of the ICD9 codes to 10, but now i have to be detailed with their history. Until i memorize these codes it's going to take me a few minutes for each report to write...

Also, the changes that needed to be made are still left alone... i mean i'm still coding for dizziness and giddiness, yes, giddiness.

My wife does the same thing and shes been telling me how its now even more of a pain in the ass to have to write every little detail about the procedure. Apparently were she works the doctors are horrid at writing everything out.

It's stupid. All of these plans are requiring them now lol. Just more ways for them to skate around paying for shit.

Paying for shit? These are diagnosis codes, not procedure codes. CPT and ICD codes are different. Reimbursement in the state for medicare is like 70%... no ones getting rich but the middleman that deny the claims.
