-----------

According to multiple reports, both Mark Stein and Mark Spears, Steve Kerr is taking an indefinite leave of absence due to pain and slow recovery from multiple back surgeries this summer and Luke Walton is the interim head coach for Golden State.

No timeframe has been given for Steve Kerr's return, according to their GM Bob Myers.

Still a month until the season starts. I'm sure Kerr will be on the sideline on opening night.

Walton was the real reason for their success, anyway. GS just needed a white guy as the face of the organization to avoid all that black hc in sports bullshit.
