View Full Version : How dedicated was MJ as opposed to Bron?

After losing to the Detroit Pistons, MJ had the foresight to realize that typical practice wasn't going to cut it. He instead formed the Breakfast club, and would have very personal workouts with players like Pippen, Harper, and Oakley. MJ was so disciplined in his workouts (and Pippen talks about this) that his dedication and effort really rubbed off on Pippen, turning Pippen into a good enough player to over come the Pistons. You have to be one intelligent, dedicated, caring individual to invest so much of your personal time helping out teammates.

Lebron on the other hand... what does he do? Not put in enough work so that he has a broke jumper? Such is the difference between a 6/6 player and a 2/6 player.

Bron doesn't set up personal workouts with any of his teammates where they would work out in the morning every single day, regardless if they had practice or a game. If he did, it would be on his twitter and mentioned all over the media. He's just not obsessed with the game and winning as much as MJ was. That's the main difference. Guy had every opportunity to surpass Jordan and has been very disappointing thus far.

Word.

Y'all just don't get it.

ANYONE that has seen boaf play KNOWS this just by watching games.

Jordan was like no other.

Bron Bron is a hot potato chicken shit beta that seriously thinks about him missing the big shot being on sports center so he passes.

Bron is hyped from day one. All hype. This Twitter, Instagram, ultra media hyped world , these kids are fooled to believe Bron is a goat candidate. It's sickening actually.

Bron is a chicken shit flopper that worries about stats.

No one will ever come close to Jordan.

Horry was the GOAT teammate. Inspired Hakeem, Shaq, Kobe and Duncan to 7 rings. Who else helped four top 10 GOATs?

MJ losing meant working harder. LeBron losing meant recruiting harder.

If he really loved the game, he wouldve focus himself on winning but hes contented with mvps. He wouldve been as good as kobe by now if he wanted to win.

Jordan wouldn't be caught dead asking for 3 more months of rest at the start of an NBA season.

Remove 2003 Horry playoff peformances and he's arguably the GOAT reserve.

MJ is so far Lebron that it's a joke to speak the two in the same sentence.

Born with elite all time athleticism, but goes to work on his fundamentals like no other.

Got great skill and great athleticism enough to dominate the league, but practices more and works harder than anyone in the league.

Is the hardest working, best offensive player of all time, but plays so hard at defense he wins DPOY.

MJ was bascially flawless as a player.

All this great made-up stuff but he couldn't take care of his gambling debts?

The truth about Jordan is he was naturally gifted, but never reached his full potential because he would stay up all night partying and gambling, rarely got a good nights sleep, and would just show up to practice hung over and groggy most of the time.

He was a degenerate.

MJ was so good he could stay up late and gamble and still become GOAT.

You raise a good point, what if MJ didn't gamble, play golf and smoke cigars while trying (and suceeding) in sexing people's wives?

What then, it is almost scary to think about.

Exactly, I don't wanna hear that shit about MJ being the hardest working and most focused athlete ever. No, he treated basketball like he treated everything else... as a hobby.

LeBron has dedicated his entire life to basketball. And that's why many like myself agree he's the better player and teammate. Did LeBron ever sock a teammate in the mouth? No, but the angry drunk Jordan did. The same guy who was forced to "retire", or should I say suspended by Stern because he was busy betting on sports.

GOATs don't self destruct like Jordan did. He was and still is an addict.

What a blasphemous thread topic... MJ **** suckers spewing BULLSHIT, just like the media. Just a bunch of dumb horseshit.

Pippin would have 8 rings.

Addicts aren't the only ones effected by their decisions, but also the people around them.

MJ's selfish, gambling ways got his father killed and cost his GOAT level teammates and GOAT head coach a chance at more rings. Sickening.

LeBaldo at the Miami Heat douchetacular intro event:

"It's gunna be easy."

That says it all. He wants it easy. Not to prove himself against the best. Not to be challenged.

He wants it easy.

I wonder if professional players were allowed to play in the Olympics in 92 had something to do with Nike, and wanting to spread the name of Michael Jordan "as well as the sport of basketball" globally
