It's going to be a good game. China beat Iran 71-57 in the semi finals while the Philippines beat Japan 81-70 in the other semi finals bracket.

Sorry but it's not going to be a good game.
China is head and shoulders above Philippines at this moment.
(And yea i watched most of those matches since they were in the morning and i had nothing to do) :lol

We beat Iran more convincingly in the quarter finals. I just want to see a fair officiating in today's game.

You didn't beat Iran in the quarter finals, you beat Iran in 2nd group stage which didn't count for anything.

Btw, you didn't beat more convincingly... i watched both games. China yesterday just trashed Iran with Haddadi and Nik having the best games of the tournament for them.

China interior presence will just murder Philippines, because the advantage that Blatche had against Hadaddi he doesn't have against Jianlian which is playing from the outside.

Guo is better than Romeo.
Wang and the other kid #15 are better than any post player in Gilas.
The only matchup that they can win is at the SG position with Castro or Avuelva or whatever he's called.

But good luck, i just want to watch a great game :D

Hope romeo won't hog the ball all the time. He good but must know his limits.

Abueve on the other hand :facepalm :facepalm

That's the difference between Romeo and Guo, both are good young players but Guo knows how to use his quickness and dribbling skills to create offense while Romeo is just a streaky scorer.

idk. Philippines got a super sayian on there team. I think that pushes them over the top.

I agree. Both of them had their worst game of the tournament vs. Japan.

Correct. The only chance philippines wins this one is for blatche not go into foul troulble and play a monster game. I am afraid whenever he sits on the bench philippines will get destroyed.

Castro and Dondon need to have the same game last night..

Abueva sucks, Norwood is the x-factor defense specialst.

For me the key to win is to Gilas making outside shoots and play a 3-2 zone defense, because i don't think that China will have a good shooting night like yesterday and they kind of struggled with outside shooting.

Have you guys watched other games?
There are some fine players in other teams, that point guard from Lebanon which is 21 years old is a stud... he really looks like Dragic at the younger stage of his career.

China is too long and tall for the philippines.. Blatche needs to stop shooting 3s.

Hate to say it but Asi needs to go in for a big tall body for the Phils. His slow as an ox thou

Philippines are horribly coached, terrible offensive sets, Blatche all over the place, reaching in on defense, no boxing out, no inbound plays at key points, just a pathetically coached game, that guy is crap.

If there's one thing I really hate about games like this, it's when dirty politics come in to play. China had all the advantage coming into this game yet still had to resort to dirty tactics just to get the win. Still the Philippine team missed a lot of free throws and 3's so I guess you can say they could've played better. Losing only by 11 is not bad at all considering all the bs they had to go through.
:whatever:
