Duncan should probably be on the most liked list, while Carmelo & Wade have arguments to be on the most hated

Duncan and Dirk are easily top 5.

Duncan just won the teammate of the year award, voted by other NBA players.

Kobe is not top 2.
At this point of his career, nobody with a brain gives a shit about that rapist.

I would put Wall in the bottom top 10 but I think a lot of people like him as a person and as a player. He's only a consistent jumpshot away from possibly averaging 20/10 in his prime.

Kobe is easily the most popular player of his generation, and that craze continues to culminate as everyone knows his retirement is imminent and thus most want to savor His last days of playing in the NBA and lend commendatory attention to his career.

Out of all the players who we impendingly ready to retire--which includes the greatest Power Forward of all time in Tim Duncan, who is playing for one of the title-contention favorites--is there any player engrossing more attention for their forthcoming retirement than the Lakers guard who has nothing noteworthy left to accomplish on his lowly team?

On the other end of the spectrum, it's also caused him to become one of the most villainized players as well, considering that so much of his overratedness Derives from that astronomical popularity--hence those fans who employ superficialities (ring-counting, etc.) to defy mountainS of scientific evidence that substantiates the fact other players are better.

I don't think Irving is liked very well. I personally hate him because he doesn't play defense. He's a one trick pony. Has crazy handles and can only hit contested 3s. Unreliable. You like him if you like seeing cool stuff, you hate him if you wanna win.

Didn't the OP just make 2 separate threads for liked and hated players?
