Even then he has trouble, clanked a dunk already.
Why do we keep taking mid rangers though?? Clarkson, Russell, and Randle...all missed shots. I don't know why Randle is so in love with that shot.

I think you're expecting too much from Kobe. In his 20th season, coming off of multiple serious injuries, 37 years old, I expect him to have trouble being effective on both ends, especially guarding younger guards, and I mean guards that are much younger.

Burks made some nice passes. Trey wont be playing. Neto is an upgrade. Cotton will be too. Snyder said hood and burks could play the 1
Man I remember when philly drafted Lou williams he was our only draft pick that year and I think it was the last year high schoolers can go pro. He was a steal for us the front office decided he would likely be a lottery mid first round pick had he went to college. I also remember either Kenny Smith or Greg Anthony bashing philly right after the pick saying Lou will be lucky to receive a training camp jersey. Hes been in 6th man of the year debate almost every year the last 5 years. He's also a pretty good guy too I remember reading a article where a a man pulled a gun on him and tried to rob him, the gunman recanized him for all the charity work he has done in the city anyway long story short Lou ended up taking the guy out for some food and just talked about the man's problems.
Also he's a pimp he got two fine pieces of aZz and the best part bout it is they cool with it :pimp:

Healthy Joakim Noah was the best player on both sides of the ball for a Chicago Bulls squad that won nearly 50 games without Derrick Rose just two seasons ago.
Gobert is easily the better shot blocker than healthy Noah, but on every other aspect of the game on the defensive end I'd take Noah.
Gobert is the better finisher, but Noah still did average 12.6 points and 5 assists during his last healthy season. Noah basically played Point Center for the Bulls two seasons ago. With Gobert, you're not getting much of anything from him besides dunks off of offensive rebounds and lob catches.

You obviously haven't watched him. He sets the best screens on the team. He's their best passing big. He runs the floor. He runs the pick and roll. Defensively and on the glass he is the best. He took over the game tonight just like we saw him do game after game last year.

Okay. That still doesn't make him better than Joakim Noah two seasons ago when he won DPOY while averaging 5 APG as a Point Center on a Bulls team that one nearly 50 games without the help of Derrick Rose. Noah that year was the best center in the league and was fourth in MVP Voting behind Durant, Lebron, and Griffin.
Rudy Gobert was better than Noah last season, but don't forget Noah was hobbled all year with an ankle injury and played a reduced role with the emergence of Jimmy Butler and the addition of both Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol.

I'd still take Boogie, Howard, Gasol, DeAndre, Horford, Vucevic, and a healthy Noah over Gobert going into next season.I think I'd take Gobert over Vucevic for sure this season. Vuc is a beast on the boards and very skilled offensively, but just doesn't have the foot speed to be a good defender. That's one of the flaws on the Magic- none of their 5 or 6 best players provides rim protection.
I'm in agreement regards to Rudy's offensive game still developing compared to the guys you listed. Having a defender between him and the basket can neutralize his finishing, whereas others will score over/around/through a defender. He's at least improved his FT% to where he's not as much of a liability. I think he's a better defender (and arguably passer) than DJ, but with more offensive confidence he'll definitely surpass him. DJ is great at screening/rolling/finding space/finishing. If he isn't rumbling down the lane, he provides little outside of great screen-setting.
