This was the contact on Larry Johnson's 4-point play in 1999 playoffs.. The play was hugely controversial at the time because most people felt it wasn't a foul..

The problem I have is that if you're going to call that on defender Antonio Davis, the offensive player has way too big an advantage.. The defender is hogtied because defense must be hands-off.

Lebron would average 40 ppg against all those iso ball clear outs

Are you seriously complaining about a call made 16 years ago?

There's an angle he's aiming for somewhere. Hopefully the thread doesn't make it far enough for it to be revealed.

Though obviously we all know what its about :lol

But it's okay for the offensive player to push the defensive player away to get a wide open shot to win the championship?

Do you even realize the absurdity of your post? :lol

Don't think for one second that Jordan didn't survey the court to see the placement of the refs prior to brining the ball up court on that play. This happens in seconds. Do you really think that with the game on the line he's going to commit an offensive foul unless he knew for absolute CERTAIN that it would not be noticed by the refs? Jordan was THAT good that he could exploit every rule in the game to his advantage and you are going to fault him for being just that much better? Do you think him not getting called for travels is coincidence? Do you think that it just coincidence that he only traveled in certain circumstances based on ref positioning and visibility?

The absurdity in some of these posts.....
