More Interesting Finals numbers
Since 2000, only players with 20/8/8 in a Finals game are Kobe, Duncan, LeBron, Kidd, Shaq and Westbrook. LeBron is there at halftime.
Playoff stats
Since 1985, players with 35/11/11 in playoffs: LeBron (2009), LeBron (2010), LeBron (2015), LeBron (2015), LeBron (2015)

This Lebron guy is pretty good for some one who is supposedly a choker in the playoffs/finals.

It baffles me how people keep pushing this 2/6 garbage. Making it to the Finals is an accomplishment on it's own. I don't get it, would it be better if he was 2/2 ?

Can we include estimated blocks per game? I'm think Wilt might have more than 2 triple doubles.

He probably for sure does, I could take a look at his triple double count from news archived advanced stats when I get home if you're interested

Led all players in the finals:
Rebounding: 6 times
Blocked shots: 4-6 times (probably)
FG%: 3 times
Assists: once
Scoring: once (only time as role of leading scorer)

Damn, only led them in scoring ONCE!?! From a guy who averaged 50 ppg at one time in the reguar season?!?!
Talk about regression.

Ya, getting to the finals in a weak eastern confrence only to get beat in the Final is such a great accomplishment.
Jordan was 6/6 with 6 FMVP to back it up. That is the standard, and 2/6 is mediocre when compared to that standard.
Do you understand what setting the bar means?
Until someone is good enough to carry their team to perfection in the finals at least 6 times and have the 6 FMVP to prove their leadership, then reaching the bar is not attained.
2/6? LOL Not even CLOSE!
This is simple math. Why does it have to keep being explained over and over and over again to kids who feel slighted and insecure because the hero of their era of basketball is an absolute joke in comparison to Jordan?
The best player of my generation (Jordan) MIGHT be surpassed, but it won't be by LeBron James because that ship already set sail. The oportunity was there, and it was met with a 2/6 failure.
The best player of this generation (LeBron) will never surpass Jordan and will definitely be surpassed. Now please hold the L firmly.

As has been pointed out by Laz, fplii, Cavs, and probably a few others, Wilt played different roles. Only one of his finals occurred during the time he was the primary scorer. Wilt's final scoring averages would look a lot different if those five had occurred during his earlier years.
But this is ISH, so context doesn't exist.

Not in this Eastern Conference it's not.
Jason Kidd took much worse teams than LeDecision's super squads to the finals in back to back years. The East has been a disaster since the Bulls dynasty ended. This is a fact.
Empty stats James doe :applause:

This would be a great argument if Wilt "changing roles" amounted to unprecedented success in those finals/playoffs. But it didn't.
It amounted to 2/7.
