I remember my cousin was a bandwagon fan of the Bulls during their first trilogy he also repped the Cowboys from around the same time :oldlol:
But my earliest memories of watching were the 1995 finals with the Magic/Rockets. Shaq and Penny were heavily marketed at that time. They were like what the Thunder are now.

The OJ chase one, Knicks vs Rockets I think? I barely remember the games I was so young just the OJ chase cause everyone was talking about it. That's basically why I even remember watching some of that Finals.

Spurs vs Nets. Couldn't believe how Duncan could dominate the floor. I thought the NBA would be boring until his retirement because he was way too good to lose and would win every year

One with the Spurs. I was pretty young so it's fuzzy.

I remember the network doing this special on Duncan right before the tip off of game one. Talking about him being a guy on the beach and not really a ball player and whatnot when he was younger. Something like that.

Knicks vs Rockets game seven. Can't recall much besides the kids in the neighborhood talking about it. Became a regular NBA follower after that.

Pistons-Spurs. It was on at a friend's house before I was even into basketball.

97 Bulls vs Jazz finals. I was only about a year old when the 94 Knicks vs Rockets series happened but I was watching it apparently with my NJ cousins. Just don't remember any of it.

'87 Finals between Lakers and Celtics. I was really young but I specifically remember watching game 6 with my dad.

2000 - Pacers vs. Lakers

The WCF game 7 vs the Blazers is more memorable for me though.. I remember my grandmother making fun of me because my team was about to lose when LAL was down 15...

But then one thing lead to another, Kobe threw the lob to Shaq, and the rest is history :pimp:

I started watching the Finals religiously in 1991. I misunderstood the time difference and missed the first game. The rest of the series was a backdoor sweep. :facepalm

Been watching ever since. The greatest Finals of all time was also the most difficult to watch: 2013 Heat - Spurs.

I vaguely remember watching some of the finals in the late 80's with my dad but I was too young to really understand or care about what was going on. The first finals I watched with a rooting interest was Bulls vs Lakers in 1991. I was just beginning to follow the Heat, but like many kids my age I was a bandwagon Bulls fan because of Jordan.

1970 Knicks/Lakers. I was ten. I watched all that I could, but not all of it was broadcast on TV in New York. Game 3, which went into overtime because of West's 63 foot shot, was only aired on the radio, with Marv Albert doing the play by play. That game started at 11pm New York time, and I remember having to turn the radio down real low, so my parents wouldn't make me turn it off and go to sleep (after 1am).

1993 Bulls vs. Suns. I was watching it during that time I was fairly young. I grew up in a family that loved basketball my dad played college ball at D1 school. It was amazing to see Jordan play at the time I knew nothing back then, but I believed Jordan was incredible thinking to myself I'll never see player as good as him. Lol behold here we are over 20 years later still searching to find that player as good or better than MJ.

Same here. Been watching since 91, but the 93 Playoffs/Finals was the first that I followed quite religiously.

I can remember as far back of some moments of the 78-79 SuperSonics championship, but I was a little kid and only watched a bit because my dad liked basketball. I remember some parts of the next few NBA Finals but the first one I remember watching in it's entirety was the 85-86 Celtics vs Rockets series.

It was the 93 one with Bulls winning third chip. That's really when I started following NBA hardcore. I was young, only 8. I missed the first Jordan run but I followed the Bulls religiously on the second stint.

2000. I wasn't very interested though as my young mind was only 8 and was disinterested/confused by two teams both wearing yellow (Indiana/LA). 2001 was the first year I really started watching attentively because AI had sparked my interest.

1992 Finals was my first true finals. The first finals that I really watched and studied the game. I hated the Bulls, but MJ is the GOAT for a reason. His performances made you awe struck.

I sorta watched '84-'87 (a little to young to stay up for the games though) but '88 was the first time I really got into it.

I loved the Magic due to Penny & Shaq, didn't really get hooked on the NBA til 95-96. My first real taste of the finals was '95 coming in the house and finding it on in the 4th quarter, literally right as Nick Anderson was missing his first 2 of 4 straight FTs.

I know I watched the Lakers 3peat sparsely with my dad but I was young and I can't remember a specific moment in any of the games (except for stuff like Horry winner vs Kings, but that isn't the finals)...first memory of an NBA finals I get is Lakers-Pistons, first series I watched in it entirety is Spurs-Pistons.
