Russell could be a pure point. Irving is a small shooting guard playing the point. Plays no defense, I'm not sure how Russell will do defensively with all of his athletic deficiencies. If I want a pure point that will become a quality back up in the league than Russell. If I want a scoring point than Irving.

He showed you how high he can peak when he's on last year with his 2 50+ point games. The guy can shoot the 3, can break down defenders any time he wants and is a solid defender when he wants to be. Irving might go down as a top 15-20 PG all time.

Irving has the type of talent and game to have some legendary playoff series in the near future.
