I was intrigued by this kid, watched some highlights of his summer league and their game today and I feel that he has the potential to be the face of Detroit and future star of the league, along with Wiggins, Parker, Okafor... etc, Detroit fans, what can you say about this rook?

I watched a lot of him in Arizona.
He has improved immensely since then.
His IQ is most impressive.

He lacks the mass to initiate fusion.

I really wish I watched this. Seems like he's a beast. Pistons may be watch-able this year lol.

I think he's going to be a solid NBA player, but we let him finish a season before we anoint him as the next big thing.

I think Johnson has more potential personally. Either way both should be solid pros to say the least.

He has the potential to be a defensive star. He's not great at passing or shooting, but he's big for a 3 and should focus on driving to the hoop.

Stanley Johnson is similar to Ron Artest as a player. I saw that type of flare in the summer league but with a better offensive game. Scary ceiling if he does reach that. Be a defensive stopper and be capable of giving you 15-20 ppgs a night.

This draft's Oladipo - kid should be really good going into his 3rd/4th years.

Bruh you called Rasad Vaughn the steal of the draft after one preseason game :lol

He was playing PG a lot in the 2nd half (with Jackson, Jennings, and Blake all injured), was impressed that he handled that duty far better than Dinwiddie, an actual point guard.

Certainly looked like he belonged out there, although it's a bit soon to tell.

He was, and he spent most of the game at PG. And looked good doing it.......and the coach switched him onto Paul George in the 2nd half. He looked far better than Morris I know that.

Looked really good last night, but it seemed like Indiana could force a TO off his dribble up court or on an inlet pass anytime they felt like putting in the effort. He had 6 or 7 TO's playing PG. Would need some work but might be OK in 4-5 minute stretches.

Jump shot from 3 looked legit last night.
