I'm a LeStan who likes Skip more than Stephen A, which is probably rare.

You can always tell Stephen A. puts less into FT than Skip does, but I guess he has other engagements he has to focus on whereas I feel like First Take is all Skip does right now, other than maybe the occasional blog post.

Show has gotten painfully stale and I'm surprised they still give them a full 2 hours (made to be 4 with the re-runs) every weekday. I can't remember the last time I watched more than a topic or so. Rudimentary, repetitive crap that it feels like is beneath both guys. You hear about how "hard" Skip works and it's like "how can a guy be such a hard worker yet seem to know so little after being around sports for decades?"

I know people are half-joking when they say he's just a giant troll, but things like that really make me think he might be playing a character for ratings...

I don't blame Skip. He has trolled for years consistently, but Stephen A makes 1 comment about race every so often and gets tons of press. Stephen also complains that black people get a raw deal (which is mostly true), but in their own office Skip is the one that has to act like a professional.
