There seems to be a glut of power forward types on this team.

Scola
Patterson
Johnson
Caboclo
Biyombo

Will Bennett get any run? He had a great summer, but I fear he is the type of player who because of his personality and low bball iq will get lost in the shuffle.

Caboclo is a SF and Biyombo is a C. James Johnson will likely play more SF than PF. I can really only see Bennett as a 11-15 man spot on the roster.

Right now, it seems like they are just trying to work him in with the 3rd stringers. Casey says he likes his defensive ability and he won't play any SF. PF is the weakest position, but I can't seen him playing over established players like Patterson and Scola. I can see him playing more in the D-league this year just to get some playing time. Raptors will push hard for the playoffs and Casey wants to have his best guys out there because hes in possibly the last year of his contract.

I can't dislike too much what he's doing, I think it's just confidence issue that's effecting the rest of his physical and mental game. I love when he attacks the basket, though, it seems he is comfortable enough in that aspect.

That or the bench.

I would just leave him with 905 and sporadically call him up when needed til we find out how good he can really be in NBA.

The Cavaliers should have brought back Anthony Bennett and let Tristan Thompson sign elsewhere. Come on, there's no way to justify giving a max deal to a back up PF who would average 8 points and 9 rebounds?

He can be the guy who collects the rebounds and passes it to the guy in front of the layup line.

well i think patterson will likely be the starting PF this season since we lost Amir over the summer.

Scola and Biyombo will probably take the front court for the 2nd unit, james johnson taking the SF position. and as for caboclo, i really doubt he's going to get much playing time over the season.

that leaves the third string for bennett. pretty sure we picked him up as a marketing move - really no big loss here. and good to have him as a back up back up for unforeseeable injuries over the season.

Bennet breaks out to be a star this year, JV grows into top tier center, slimmed down Lowry becomes best pg in the east. Raptors wins the rings.

Then I realise I am not a Knicks fan and laugh at the idea of all 3 becoming true instead of having delusions.
