no gordon hayward or kyle korver?

im shocked because there iq is so much higher than all the other nba players i would think they could figure out how to be good at dribbling a simple basketball

Kyrie's handles are nasty. I would put his and Steph's as the best. Plus the fact they are great shooters makes them near impossible to stop.

Once we start getting into the tightness/control of the handle/ball than not only is CP3 the best right now but the best in league history possibly.

Alot of guys can do spectacular moves but to be able to do that along with the ability to get anywhere you want on the court in any kind of situation without being in any danger of losing the ball is what it's all about.

Whether it's...

getting to/through any tight space in the lane

handling doubles & traps (you seen someone like Curry become a turnover machine when Cleveland sent those doubles at him, he averaged like 5 TO's a game in the finals)

or handling pressure defense.

To me right now it's CP, Kyrie, then everybody else. Those guys have extremely tight handles and can do any kind of crossover/flashy dribble move.

Cp3 has tight handles but His ability to break down a player has more to do with his quickness than anything else, similar to try Lawson. Irving is more like curry where they break down players with misdirection and change of pace.

And curry isn't great at breaking down double teams because he isn't very quick. He's deceptively quick because of his handles along with his quick release making him a tough cover one on one, especially off a pick, but those hard traps are difficult for athletes like curry. Send a hard double or trap on Andre Miller like you do curry and he'd pick up his dribble 9 times out of ten.

On another note, cp3 nor Irving see the kind of defensive attention curry sees throughout the span of a game.

People hating on kyrie hard. How often these he turnover due to his dribbling? How often is he stripped? Dude is the nicest with his handles hands down. No one can dribble in traffic like he does.
