So I have to go to court for reckless driving in FL on Tuesday. I've never been charged with anything before. Apparantly this is a criminal charge?

What do I do? What should I expect? I'm nervous

If you're going to criminal court, then every charge is a criminal charge. LOL.


First offense ever?? Pffft. If I were you, I'd be planning on where to take your Christmas vacation.

Public defenders suck and do not have your best interest at heart and will put in minimal effort, but if you can't afford a lawyer, do it.

Public defenders suck and do not have your best interest at heart and will put in minimal effort, but if you can't afford a lawyer, do it.

Ticket clinic charges 500 for criminal cases like reckless driving, I guess I can put that ish on the card... Other lawyers charge around 800+.

Didnt hit anybody or anything. It was late night on Flagler. Apparantly made a left turn on a red light (tires screeching) and was speeding.

Cop didn't show and all charges were dropped. I was worrying for nothing.

Generally that's what happens.

My dad never showed up to anything unless it was serious or you were a dick during the traffic investigation.
