Might be the worst in NBA history if you think about it
Jordan played for $5M a year so it wasnt bad
Shaq played for 20M a year in Cleveland in 2010, but he wasnt that bad
Garnett, Pierce, Allen all played for cheap in their final years
Ummm. honestly cant think of one
Maybe the seasons Jermaine O' Neal was earning 20M in like 2009, or Stephan Marbury earning 20M in 2006, or maybe a broken down Arenas earning 20M in 2010 playing garbage?
But again, neither of them were as bad as Kobe, so cant really make an argument for Kobe there.
So yes, OP you're right.

As a player, Barkley has far more positive impact on his team.

Maybe even NBA history.
Factoring in the contract, his WOAT impact, or the fact that he drove every single big-name free agent away. I say current Kobe is the biggest negative in sports, forget basketball, but sports. I don't care if he sells tickets or jerseys. In terms of short term success, AND long-term success, he's the absolute worst player in the league. It's inarguable.

Didn't even factor in his destructive impact to the Lakers FA hopes. Also the fact that even though Kobe sucks so badly, his coach still has to play him 30+ mins or face the wrath of the media/retarded Kobe fans.
It's official:
Current Kobe Bryant is the worst player in NBA history.
Great work guys.

because Moses Malone, Dr. J, multiple time all star/ all defensive teamer Dan Majerle, all nba guard Kevin Johnson, Scottie Pippen and Hakeem Olajuwon wasn't enough..

In 07-08 Portland paid Steve Francis 30 million to go away, and the Rockets signed him to a 6 million dollar two year deal. In the 10 games he played for the Rockets, he scored less than 5 points per game So he got paid 33 million that year, or 3.3 million per game, or about 750k per point. Nice work with if you can get it.

Almost all those players were past prime. Shaq >> then all anyways. Other than LeBron and maybe MJ, there's no one better than prime Shaq

Yeah but his coach wasnt forced to play him 30+ mins and he didn't scare off free agents. Also I said cap hit, not salary.

Barkley was 21 and playing with Moses who was 29 and putting up 24/14 and on that same team they had Dr J dropping 20ppg, all star Andrew Toney, all star and all nba first team defender Mo Cheeks..
Played with Kevin Johnson when KJ was an all star & all nba guard and on that same team he had all star guard & all nba defender Dan Majerle..
Played with Scottie Pippen years before Pippen was the first or second best player on a team that made the WCF
played with Hakeem who was putting up 23/9 and was first team all nba center and all nba defender and on that same team Clyde Drexler was still putting up 18ppg
Barkley played with all of that and still never won shit

players arent paid for the future. theyre paid for the past and what revenue they bring to the team
kobe made only 10 million in 2001 when he averaged 29/7/6 in the playoffs
that production was probably worth 35 million

Fair enough, but Portland took two years of approximately $17 million dollars/per year for a player they paid to leave. And the Rockets had a more modest $3 million / year cap hit for nothing. That's an aggregate $20 million/year for two years.
Allan Houston's last two years for the Knicks also comes to mind.
oh the horror

I see the clown brigade is up to their usual bullshit ramping up and dusting off their nonsense as the season begins to open up soon.
