Either. Both are going to be better than any player on crappy teams like the Magic.

Did you not learn anything from the previous similar stupid thread you posted where you got owned?

It DOESN'T MATTER who the prospects are.

It's what franchise they're playing for.

Prozingis, Gordon and Payton are in scrub franchises that never do sh*t with their talent.

While Lakers have a track record of building around that talent and molding it to contender status.

But I'm glad you exhibit such confidence in the prospects that your farm-system franchise is pumping out for real NBA teams when they bolt via free agency.

Porzingis and it ain't even close. This league is full of decent point guards that can be had cheapish but a 7 footer who is nimble and can shoot is rare

Porzingis, and ill take KOQ over Vucevic too.

While it's too soon to tell, I agree with this whole heartedly.

That Latvian kid. Set great picks in the first game; last night shot was better and grabbed 10 boards. Playing defense and hustling. Good game iq from what I've seen so far. Don't know about that other kid...

They are both considered projects. I would not draft a point guard project with the #2 pick. Now a skilled big man project at #2 or #3 for sure. lakers taking L's.

They both look slow as hell, but I think Porzingis will be the more effective player. Dude's skill level is pretty damn impressive. :applause:

I'm high on Randle, and feel he'll become a GREAT player in this league. I'm not so sure about Russel. Hope he proves me wrong.

So him.

Yup, but that's more a knock on magic. Dude has it all defense rebounding scoring, passing, wet jumper. There's no way he shouldn't have been starting at pf on the magic. They didn't give him a chance and that was a mistake.

It's good that you took all this fr 2 preseason games. I guess KOQ will be an all-star this hear since he's better than Vucevic.

Nope he isn't an all star and his stats probably won't be quite as good as vuc due to lack of volume. But in terms of impact, koq is better

,which is why he was a 10th man on a 25 wi. Team. Yep. Okay.

He had games with otlando where i thought he looked good, then he had games where he looked horrible. He's a nice back up big but that's it.

Does he start over Lopez or Williams then ?

It's quite good that New York has all this help in their frontcourt now. They should be a Top 3 seed minimum next year barring no injuries.

And this is one of the many differentiators between a casual-fan mindset and a GM's; fans are hasty to have first-impression bias against players based discretely on the very limited showpieces we have of their skills, whereas GMs have more well-defined exposure to them and the prudence to make long-term decisions on such players.

They also are well-aware that any high-pace role, such as the Point Guard, takes the longest to transition to in the NBA because it's much more dependent on well-conditioned timing as opposed to the physicality that is the mainstay for big-men to seamlessly adapt to the NBA. You are all preconceiving that D'Angelo Russell won't acclimate to the NBA well when he's only had two full preseason games to start adjusting to the NBA's game-speed continuum; aside from that, he's mostly only played against fellow rookies and sophomores so far, as well as a few plodding, aging veterans. :wtf:

It may be a growing pain until Russell is wholly seasoned and ready to play at a high level consistently, and it may cost him Rookie of the Year due to the relatively steepened learning curve; but once he's finally had more than a modicum to at least get his feet wet with the NBA's game-speed level, then wait until he's had at least ample time to dazzle his potential before jumping to conclusions.
