They have been in the league 45 years. More than half of the NBA teams in the league make the playoffs yet they have made it less than 25% of the time. The Celtics and Lakers each have more championships than the Clippers have playoff appearances. Discuss.

Number 12's coming this season with hopefully getting out of the 2nd round and setting other franchise milestones.

No chance in hell they beat any of the Spurs, Warriors, or Thunder.

Clippers were a shit franchise for most of their existence, much like my Warriors. Both franchises are on the rise now though. What exactly is there to discuss?

Um, they did just beat the Spurs in the playoffs and only got better in the offseason. They beat the Warriors in their last playoff encounter and sure aren't afraid of them. And as for the thunder, they easily should've beaten the them in 2014, just one foul and turnover did them over. The Clippers can hang with anybody, their only problem is choking when it matters most, which admittedly is a huge problem, however I feel they'll figure it out this year.

Historically, they are arguably the worst franchise in NBA history. They probably don't even have the success they do without the vetoed trade. But it is what it is now, they have a bunch of success. They need to captalize on a chip, but I don't think they win it all.

It seems you were away all summer. Here is a news you probably missed: Spurs signed LMA and David West while keeping their core (Kawhi, Danny Green, the big 3)

So they got a little bit better as well

They lost Cory Joseph and Parker/Ginbobili barely have anything left in the tank going by last season. They have the best bigs in the League but that doesn't mean much in this small ball era does it?

they beat that spurs team in 7 games and it took a prayer floater from cp3. they beat a warriors team that was coached by mark jackson and that series also went to 7 games and a no call at the end of game 7 won the clippers that series. sooooooo yea. TRY HARDER

SPURS ARE A WAY BETTER TEAM THIS YEAR AND THE WARRIORS ARE DEFENDING CHAMPS WHO ONLY LOST ONE STARTER/ROLE PLAYER IN DAVID LEE WHO REALLY DIDNT DO SHIT LAST SEASON.

4 straight playoff appearances. Which speaks to the effectiveness of Blake and Paul.
They were widely considered the worst franchise in the NBA up until the Paul trade.
Brand was a elite PF in his prime and only got them in the postseason in 2006.
