They might not compliment eachother perfectly but you're still talking about two of the most unstoppable scorers ever from the field.

They'd take turns wrecking defenses and they'd be an amazing rebounding duo also.

Barkley's portability and off-ball play is underrated.


He could work out of the high post and face up from anywhere and still be a threat to do anything.

Their dominance would be comical.

The lane would be wide open because opposing big men would have too many fouls to aggressively rotate, and even if they successfully do, Shaq or Barkley could clean up the miss with ease..


This actually happened a lot with peak shaq alone. Opposing centers were in decision making hell with deciding whether they should defend the Lakers slashers (especially Kobe ) and risk extra foul trouble and/or allowing Shaq to clean up a miss with an easy putback.

This synergizes with Barkley.
