heres a question... if someone high up in the muslim hierarchy came up to you and said, you must do so and so, no questions asked, cause allah commands it..? what do you do? do you turn your back on your religion or do the said task?

First of all, not everyone is as easily brainwashed as the idiots in the middle east. I am educated and know right from wrong. Allah would never command me to commit a crime against innocent people no matter their religion or color of skin.

this leads me up to... how easy it is to use the context of religion to make people perform the most heinous of crimes...most of these suicide bombers are probably poor and uneducated and have not seen or heard anything other than a koran, and when they hear "god" calling them to perform something so brutal..they dont think twice...

A good point you bring up.

A lot depends on the culture and environment that you're in. If you're constantly exposed to watching public executions, watching women get raped etc etc, I think you're more likely to carry out violent acts etc. A lot of those public executions have children who are exposed to violence from a very early age.


These areas where that type of shit happens daily, have low employment and little education. I mean, what else is there to do in a dustbowl? Kill a few here, rape a bit there, seems like they are just killing time to me.
