I love Carmelo, but lets face it, he's not going to impact the game as much as Ewing. A Ewing led team is always going to make the playoff, always give you a chance of making the Finals. Carmelo, he's, I don't know. I don't want to say anything bad about him. But Ewing 100 out of 100 times.

Right now I have Ewing in the 30-40 range and Melo in the 50-60 range. But Melo's game ages well, and he has at least 3 more elite years left. Melo will more than likely compete for the mvp this year which should help his case.

Ewing is actually one of the most underrated players ever because he played during the golden era of Centers. There is little question as to who is better, greater, who has a bigger impact on the game, and who you would take between Ewing and Carmelo.
