Mexican food is definitely a top 3 cuisine in the world. I'm not Mexican, but as a Los Angeleser, I'd call Mexican food my version of Soul Food. Even random ass Mexican dudes are great cooks, and can have some random taco shop on the corner and they make food that tastes bomb as ****.

Agreed, I have spent several years in Mexico and the only really obese people I saw were ones who had lived in the USA

it's funny. my favorite hangout is a mexican restaurant, and of the dozens of mexicans i've met there, not one has been obese.

OTOH at a nearby mexican joint, there are indeed a lot of fatasses. that place also throws a tonne of oil in their food, especially the fajitas.

not surprising. Almost every "mexican" I have ever seen seen has been overweight except for children under 10. I never see an adult mexican that isn't the sterotypical short, chubby guy.

although americans definetly have the most "extremely fat fuks" as in those people that need scooters to move around, they also have the most fit people in the world too on the other end of the spectrum so it evens out more... where as EVERY mexican has that uniform look.
