Depends on how the coaches feel about Kemba Walker. Walker shot a horrible 38.5% but was still the Hornets' top scorer last season as well as basically being the team leader in assists (Mo Williams averaged more but only played in 27 games). I barely watched the Hornets last season but those numbers say to me that Walker got a lot of touches. If the team thinks that was a problem and want to supplant Walker with Lin as the primary ballhandler then "Linsanity" will return as he can get numbers if he always has the ball. But if Lin is just going to be a reserve with Walker still being the featured player then there will be no reviving of Linsanity as he's shown he's nothing special playing off the ball.

That said, neither of them is the way to go. The best thing for Charlotte offensively would be to get some guards that can shoot and let Big Al and Frank Kaminsky go to work in the paint. If those two can play together Charlotte would have an inside attack that almost no one in the EC could guard (I think Washington, Chicago and maybe Detroit have the personnel and no one else).

It's only preseason but the Hornets are 4-0 and destroyed the Clippers this morning. The main thing Clifford wants to do is create more ball movement and not spending the entire shot clock trying to get it to Big Al down low only to have Kemba chuck one up at the buzzer. Check out this play:

It's not like it's a difficult thing dude. No big deal. Anybody can do it.

Back to the topic, considering the coach doesn't seem racist, Lin would do much better than he did with Rockets and Lakers. But he won't return to the 2 week glory with the Knicks when he was better than Jordan, Bird and Magic combined.
