Edit: I like Popovich but I don't like how he handled the 1995 WCF.
I think we could have and should have beaten the Rockets. I talked to Phil, and he told me the same thing. David had to play Hakeem straight up. We made Horry a star in that series.

I've always liked Greg Popovich. This guy gets it. There's something to be said about a great coach like him. There's a reason only a handful of coaches have all the rings. Greg Popovich, Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, and Red Auerbach have pretty much all the NBA rings. These guys are in a league of their own. Great coaching can change a teams destiny. These guys proved that.

pop was not the coach in 1995. bob hill was. Pop fired Bob Hill the following season.
