The game would be way too physical for Kevin. The defense would be too good. Handchecking.

Dantley was a 30PPG 56% guy for 10 years and he was barely top 10.

Durant might be top 20.

One thing I will say tho is if he had been born 30 years earlier his c0ck might be bigger and he might be more alpha. Women these days wear so much makeup and eat so much junk that it's fukking up a lot of their pregnancies and producing effeminate, beta men. Obviously Lebron got lucky and was not affected by this but a lot of people in this generation are.

If KD was a player in the 80s he might be much more alpha than he is today simply due to a greater genital endowment.

Durant would have a field day scoring over terrible one on one defending Bird, and past his prime Doctor J. It would be too easy for Durant. Durant's toughest competition in the 80s would probably be James Worthy and Nique cause Worthy could just back him down and score over Durant with ease and Nique could probably dunk on Durant with ease with constant drives and cuts to the basket.

Durant in the 80's would be like peak Shaq in the Phillipino league.

lol @ that list. Those guys' ear drums would burst from the frequency of swish sounds theyd be hearing with Durant in close proximity.

Would be the best perimeter player ever and it's not even close.

There was a Kevin Durant back then. His name was George Gervin.

How dare you compare Durant to The Iceman.

Gervin is 20x the player Durant is or will ever be.

Same for our GAWD, Lebron :(

That flopping wouldn't work back then

Lebron wouldn't need to flop. He would thrive in a league where he can stiff arm people.

Would be a top 3 player in ANY era.

In the mid 80s he'd be like gervin. Behind Magic, Bird, and Moses.

Late 80s he'd be behind Magic and Jordan. Bird before the injury.

He's a fantastic player. He'd be elite in any era.

Better than Dantley, better than Payton and Pippen too. Would be better than Ewing all but a few years (Ewing's peak '90-'94 he may have been better than KD at least a few of those years).

Great shooters can do well in any era, Durant would be fine, borderline top 10.

Lebron on the other hand would be a 18-8 sf/pf.

Kevin is not just a shooter. Durant is very athletic, and is an extremely underrated dunker also.

People don't understand that he can get to the basket from the three point line with 4-5 steps, he's pretty much ungaurdable in any era.
