Ive always remembered this layup he did against the Magic. One of the great layups ive seen. He was a great player, very dangerous on offense in his peak years. Had some of the best handles for a guy at his position.

"against the Mavs"

Dirk still somehow living rent free in nathan's head

its easy to mix up "mavs" and "magic", especially when they have the same colored uniforms.

Lamar genuinely had the talent to be as good as Magic Johnson or Larry Bird.
If he was on his own team I could have seen him averaging 19-9-10 on good FG%.

Odom looks like a superstar in his very first NBA game then an enigma throughout his career.

I do remember a couple of his layups against KG and the Wolves. Him and KG were jawing and Odom went beastmode and took it into KG. If Odom was a little bit selfish and has that superstar mindset and focus, he would carve a legendary career

Lamars ceiling was a very good 2nd option when you focused but he was probably the best 3rd option you could ask for.

6'10 with ability to drive, post, pass, and score.
Great rebounder
Great passer
above average defender.

That Kobe-PAU team was perfect for him because he was able to do the things either guy didn't want to do or have to do.
