since I don't discredit due to injuries, his girth already firmly lodges him in the upper tight spots.

Maybe if he can win u back your 1000 bucks he'll be considered top 10.

If he's a nurse, he makes a good living. A murse is nothing to be ashamed of unless you're chillin with your boys :oldlol:

Also to answer OP, no. He will need 2-3 more for top 5 purposes.

5-6 rings and 5-6 FMVP's to be in the top 5? He'd be the undisputed #2. With 4 MVP's, 3 rings, 3 FMVP's, the only players ranked higher than him would be MJ, KAJ, and Russell.

3-7 thats a prett shit record. As a Lebron fan I doubt he'll be in the top 5 all time.

Unfortunately, LeBron lives in the social media age. These all time list are super subjective. Now, we rank players not just based on stats and accolades but on many other variables.

LeBron's career took a nose dive when he ran for greener pastures in Miami and formed a super team. It's almost as if he took a cop out. Like he was telling the world, "I'm not Jordan. I am LeBron. I need help!" After that moment, LeBron pretty much sealed his fate on the all time list.

Don't get me wrong. LeBron is one of the greatest to ever play the game. However, like Kobe and other greats, he's not and never will be in Michael Jordan's league on the pantheon of Greatest of All Time.

Hes arguably already greater than Jordan but okay, continue to live in the 90s.

This thread would be annoying (and was) in October 2013.

Now it's just sad.

Right, and you are gonna be the first fan ever impervious to nostalgia.

I'm sure in 2035 you are gonna be perfectly objective about Lebron and contemporary players.

Somewhere, in the world, 3ball has just awakened from his slumber. Why? Because, someone said the unutterable. Someone dared to questioned Jordan's greatness. Someone, somewhere, decided to make the grave mistake to compare LeBron James to the GOAT.

Greater at what? Are you talking in terms of pure ability? If so, MAYBE an argument could be made. Lebron is one of the most talented players ever, but he's clearly well below Jordan in terms of career. I've never heard ANYONE argue otherwise.

Not sure, but if he loses in the Finals again he'll be tied at second all time for record (or up until 2011, not sure who else could have jumped 5 in that span).

So... Jim Kelly of the NBA?

I don't see Jim Kelly making any top 5 all time lists in the NFL doe

Look, I get you like LeBron. I like LeBron too. However, there's no way Micheal Jordan is making Iggy and Kawhi Finals MVP.

Very solid post. The only posters that will disagree with you are the insecure fan boys of present day era. No one is going to say that a ring in Cleveland doesn't move bron up in the top 10 ranking, but a Jordan he will never be. That ship set sail a longggggg time ago. Top 5 if he is 3/7 with a ring in CLE? A case could be made.

As has been alluded already, if he wins another ring + FMVP, he cements himself as the 2nd best perimeter player of all time behind MJ imo. Anything more and he distances himself from Bird/Magic even more and creeps closer to KAJ/Russell and gains some more ground on MJ.

#2 is the highest he can get to, but I think that would take more than just 1 extra MVP/FMVP to become a popular opinion.

Lebron is the most generous Bball player ever.

gave Mavericks first chip
gave Khawii FMVP
Gave Iggy FMVP
Bout to give someone in the east another FMVP
