If you browse them from time to time like I do you've probably noticed these "FiveThirtyEight" politcal articles which sometimes chart candidates chances and stuff like that.... I went through the site they got their data from, PredictWise.com, and it turns out that all of the data is determined by polls from HuffingtonPost.com, one of the most notoriously pro liberal websites out there that conservatives pretty much avoid. It's no wonder that all of the fivethirtyeight shit predicts the dems to do MUCH better, nearly all of the people polled to determine the data were liberal as most of the ppl who go to that site daily are.

:facepalm ESPN, take the L

Actually it's obvious, you're mistaken in what you are talking about. The evidence you give doesn't support your argument.

The data is not taken from polls run by Huffington Post. The data is all the polls run by various groups during this race AND reported and averaged by Huffinton Post..

Here's the page where they do it. It's incredibly useful.
http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/pollster

It was started by a polling guy and then bought by Huffinton Post. Similiar to how a stats guy started 538 and then sold it to the NY Times and then to ESPN.
Here's their state of Republican primary. The dots are individual polls and the lines the average of recent polls.

Since a single polls is considered noisy and a 47-44 lead might actually represent a tied race, averaging polls is widely considered to be the more accurate tool to judge where something is.

Pollster at Huffington Post creates that chart out of individual polls. Their method is to aggregate all the polls that are out there. Here's the list of the most recent.

Morning Consult
YouGov/Economist
CBS
Ipsos/Reuters
Morning Consult
Fairleigh Dickinson
PPP (D)
Gravis Marketing/One America News
IBD/TIPP

You can also download and check their data. They offer a CSV file that users and stat nerds can manipulate in any way you want.

More importantly for someone like 538. They have a software API that lets you get updated data every time pollster enters a new poll. So 538 can use their data in their own model. 538 uses a weighted average that take into ok, size of the poll (bigger is better), margin or error and if that pollster has a good track record of predicting the actual outcome.

With as many minorities involved in sports, you should not be surprised that they are liberal.

So? Its ESPN. People shouldn't even care what they say about sports, let alone actual real world issues.

Why do you think minorities are liberal? Many minorities in America have extremely conservative cultures.

People really need to get it through their head. The left is not liberal. The "progressives" are not liberal.

Lol Nate Silver had the most accurate election prediction model last cycle. His business is accurate data science and prediction, not promoting political agendas.

You're just learning this. Why do you think all of their reporters are gaylords. They are as political and lefty as they come. We need a sports network that just presents sports as they are..no biases.

Huffington Post is fascist, and so are the people that own ESPN.

Fascism is on the far right, not the left.

Your IQ is too low.

Even as conservatives, they tend to not trust the white conservatives of America and have more faith in the Democrats. The voting records are all we need to know to see that more minorities vote for dems.
