For the record....in the 67 finals Barry missed 28, 18, 26, 24, 23, and 22 shots. Granted...he put up 41ppg.

These guys have the ball in their hands most of the time so there's no surprise there. The only surprise there to me is LaMarcus Aldridge and Antoine Walker (well maybe not, lol).

Yes that was 30 missed shots (http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/200211070BOS.html)
During his highest scoring season he took a step back in the playoffs, by almost 7 FGA.

Once again proves that Kobe's penchant for shooting alot is a regular season activity (maybe with 2003 and 2012 as exceptions).
Even in 2006 he was disciplined.

The only thing that list shows is that if a guy is a big scorer he can have a game where he misses a lot of shots.

I thought we were told Kobe keeps shooting no matter what, because apparently missed shots keep his team in the game due to this somehow being "alpha" activity and scaring the other team off.
While Lebron simply doesn't do that hence his team doesn't win. I guess now it has come down to Kobe's misses being more "alpha" and better than Bron's.

Lebron is only on this list twice...and both times were this past year when his team had its 2nd (kyrie) and 3rd (love) options injured and he had Imani Shumpert as his Pippen.

Jordan missed 2309 of 4497 fgas and 303 fts to score 5987 points.
Bryant missed 2485 of 4499 fga and 297 fts to score 5640 points.

True, he probably doesn't even have that many games taking 25+ shots.

Notice how every game but one is from the same playoffs for Iverson. He averaged 32.9 points on 30 shots for the entire playoffs that year and actually averaged 31 shots to 30.5 points vs the bucks...lol. By far the most overrated scorer of all time.

And yet despite that shitty shooting they both are 6/6 in the finals. This list means shit when you look at the context. All this means is that despite the most missed shots in a playoff game, Jordan had the mental fortitude to come back and win it all that year. Compare that to Bron in playoffs where he missed alot and could only manage 2/6.
Big bron fan here, but to try and claim that he is somehow better than MJ simply because MJ had a game where he missed more shots in a playoff game just reeks of insecurity.

It's not the number of shots you miss, it's the kind of shots you miss.
Kobe has the ability to completely take his team out of a game. He also has the ability to win games single-handed.
He also has the ability to lead a team to a ring as the best player and have them flourish under him.
He's shown all three. It's a shame his career is spotted with so much of the first two (which are really one thing. Kobe never won a *ring* single-handed). Even with those blemishes, he's still got 5 rings. Imagine what he'd have if he played with more wisdom. Maybe 6, 7, 8?
It's hard to imagine, so we pretend to be satisfied with what he did.
Jordan, even at his extremes of inefficiency, is in no way comparable. Neither is Iverson in 2001, who quite literally had no one else who could get any shots up.

Kobe has the ability to completely take his team out of a game.
And he did this in only two maybe three times in his entire PO career. (Spurs 2003/Suns 2007/Thunder 2012)
And I would argue that only 2012 was really bad.

And he tried his hardest to throw the series away in the 2010 finals, but fortunately his team was talented enough to still win regardless

Are you talking about game 7? That's one game (and really only one half).
And there is a difference between bad shooting and shooting your team out of the game.
